Cascade Locks is located on the Oregon side of the Columbia River, and is surrounded by the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. This magnificent area is defined by the the passageway made by the Columbia River as it cuts through the Cascade Mountains. With quaint towns, spectacular vistas and sporting opportunites along the way, "The Gorge" is truly a unique area to enjoy.  

Cascade Locks once the site of a boom town called Whiskey Flats,  now has a population of 1100 and continues to pride itself on providing friendly accomodations for the traveler. From the serene to the extreme, you will find something for everyone in Cascade Locks. This is a full service community with dining, lodging, camping, an airport, marina & boat launch, automotive services, groceries and various retail shops. 

   

WHERE ARE WE LOCATED?

We are 45 minutes from Portland International Airport on I-84 East (Exit 44) and 20 minutes west of  Hood River.  Cascade Locks is directly across the river from Stevenson, Washington. Mt Hood is just 40 minutes from Cascade Locks.
