Locks is the perfect venue for a festival. Located along the banks of
the Columbia River, the Marine Park is ideally suited for outdoor
events and festivals. For more than three decades, the community has
been celebrating Sternwheeler Days Festival. Each year, visitors look
forward to reminiscing of bygone days. The Mountain Men take center
stage in their roles of educating the wide eyed audiences with black
powder demonstrations and reenactments of yesteryear.

Festival of Nations September 9-11, 2011
The
Festival of Nations is another signature event for the community. Each
Fall, the Treaty Tribes of the Columbia River Gorge area play host to
“visiting nations”. Vendors, educational exhibits, a Salmon Run,
Dancers, Drummers, Musicians and more, take part in celebrating
